Managing Elements

Every row in the Structure panel carries the housekeeping for that element: what it's
called, whether it renders, and getting rid of it.

Renaming elements

Double-click a row's name to give the element a custom label. The label shows in the tree
and in the element's badge on the canvas — useful for marking important containers in a
large page.

Hide, duplicate, delete

Hover a row to reveal three icons:

  • Toggle visibility. Hides the element: it disappears from the canvas, and a
hidden element isn't rendered on the published page either. Click again to bring it
back. This is a real element setting, saved with the page — handy for keeping a section
    around without publishing it.
  • Duplicate. Inserts a copy right after the original, including all children and
    their settings.
  • Delete. Removes the element and everything inside it. (With a row selected, the
    Delete key does the same.)

The same actions are on the canvas too — right-click an element for
its context menu.

The tree header

  • Collapse — collapses every node, so a long tree folds back to its top-level
    sections.
  • ••• menu — Copy All Elements copies the page's entire element tree, and
Paste Elements appends what you copied to the page you're on. Copy on one page,
paste on another to reuse a whole layout.
  • Close — closes the panel.
