Custom Code

The Custom Code tab injects site-wide code — analytics snippets, tracking pixels, meta
tags, custom scripts — into every front-end page. In wp-admin, go to
Oxygen → Settings → Custom Code.

Two boxes, one placement each:

  • Header Code is inserted inside the <head> tag.
  • Footer Code is inserted near the closing </body> tag.

Paste your code — including any <script>/<style> tags it needs — and click
Save Changes. The code is output exactly as entered, on every front-end page of the
site. Clear Code empties a box; you still need to save.

Which box to use: <meta> tags, verification tags, and analytics that want to load as
early as possible go in Header Code. Scripts that don't need to run before the page
renders belong in Footer Code, where they won't delay rendering.

WPCodeBox integration

If WPCodeBox is installed, each box gains two buttons:
Send to CodeBox moves the code into a WPCodeBox snippet (leaving a reference in the
box), and Open CodeBox jumps to editing it there. Code managed this way runs through
WPCodeBox but keeps its Header/Footer placement.
