Design Library

The Design Library tab controls two separate things: which design sets this site can
import from, and whether this site is itself published as a design set that other
sites can import from you. In wp-admin, go to
Oxygen → Settings → Design Library, and click Save Changes when you're done.

Design Set

These checkboxes turn this website into a design set — a source other Oxygen sites can
pull pages and sections from.

Turn This Website Into a Design Set is the master switch. With it on, Oxygen serves
a description of this site's Oxygen-built content over a public endpoint, and a
Shareable URL appears at the bottom of this row. That URL is what you paste into
another site's Custom Design Sets field.

Turning it on also adds a Design Library panel to the post editor for every post
type Oxygen is enabled on. It has a Hide in Design Set? checkbox for keeping a
page out of the set, and a Tags field (comma-separated) for grouping items.

Note: The set includes every post — of any post type — that has been built in
Oxygen, drafts included, unless you check Hide in Design Set? on it. If the
site has unfinished work you'd rather not hand out, exclude those posts or set a
password before you publish the set.

Enable Copy From Frontend adds Oxygen's copy button to the site when it's browsed
normally, so a section can be copied straight off a live page. Without it, the copy
button still works for you as an admin, and for anyone browsing the site inside another
site's Design Library modal — this checkbox is specifically about ordinary front-end
visits.

This Design Set Relies On Global Settings and This Design Set Relies On Design
Presets
are declarations, not exports — and in Oxygen neither one changes anything.
Global settings and design presets are Breakdance features; an Oxygen site importing from
your set is offered your Variables and Selectors instead, and it is offered them
whether or not these boxes are ticked. Importers see the warning — "This design set relies
on Variables and Selectors. It won't look the same unless you import them"
— with an
Import Settings button beside it either way. See
Using the Design Library in the Builder.

Full Site Import Enabled offers your set as a whole-site import rather than
page-by-page. Checking it reveals a Thumbnail URL field, which is the preview image
shown for the full-site option.

Password Protection

Enter a password to keep the design set private. Anyone opening your set has to enter
it, unless the URL they use carries it as a ?password= parameter — which is what the
Shareable URL above does automatically once a password is set.

Leave the field empty and the set is open to anyone with the URL.

Custom Design Sets

The design sets this site can import from. Paste one URL per line — each one is the
Shareable URL from another site's Design Library tab.

Every time this tab loads, Oxygen checks the URLs in this list and puts a red notice at
the top naming any that aren't reachable design sets. So if a set you added never shows
up in the builder, save and reload this page: either the URL is listed as invalid, or
the problem is at the other end.

Client Protection

Two switches for handing a finished site to a client.

Hide Design Library On This Website removes the Design Library from the admin menu
and blocks access to every set except "This Website" and the last set you imported.
The client keeps working with the design you gave them but can't pull in new ones.

Hide Design Library In Builder is the narrower version: the Design Library
disappears from the builder only, and the admin-menu page stays where it is.
