Post Types

The Post Types tab controls which post types can be edited with Oxygen. In wp-admin, go
to Oxygen → Settings → Post Types.

The list shows every public post type on your site — Post, Page, and any custom post
types your plugins or theme register. Check the ones you want to build with Oxygen and
click Save Changes. Post types you leave unchecked won't offer Oxygen editing:
no Edit in Oxygen button, no launcher.

Checking All Public & Allowed Post Types selects everything in the list at once.

Until you save this tab for the first time, every post type in the list is enabled —
even though none of the checkboxes show as checked. Your first save replaces that default
with exactly what you checked.

A few post types never appear here because the choice isn't yours to make:

  • Oxygen's own documents — templates, headers, footers, and components — are always
    editable.
  • Media attachments and WooCommerce products can't be edited with Oxygen.
