Text Link

The Text Link element is a piece of text that's a link — a standalone "Read more",
a footer link, a call-to-action line. It renders as a single a tag.

A new Text Link says "Click Here" and points at oxygenbuilder.com until you change it.

Content

The Text Link element's Content tab
  • Text — the link's text. You can also double-click the text on the canvas and
edit it in place, just like the Text element.
  • URL — the destination. The link button inside the field opens WordPress's
Insert/edit link dialog, where you can paste a URL or search your existing pages
and posts and pick one. Hover the field for the dynamic data button to link to
dynamic data such as the post's URL.
  • Open In New Tab — off by default; when on, the link renders with
    target="_blank".

On the front end

Text Link renders as a single a tag with a generated per-element class, the
oxy-text-link class, your href, and the target your toggle selects. The tag is
fixed.

  • Container Link — make a whole container
(a card, a banner) clickable instead of a run of text.
  • Text — the same element without the link.
