Meta Box
Oxygen has built-in support for Meta Box. Nothing to install or
connect: if Meta Box is active, its fields appear in Oxygen's dynamic data chooser under a
Metabox category, grouped by the field group they belong to.
From there they behave like any other dynamic field. Click the dynamic data button on a
control, open Metabox, and pick the field — the page then renders each post's own value.

Two things are worth knowing up front, because they differ from ACF:
- Groups are walked. Oxygen registers a Meta Box group and each of its subfields
individually, so you can bind directly to a field inside a group. - Cloneable (repeatable) groups get their own category. They're listed under
Repeaters rather than Metabox, and you pick them from the Repeater Field element
rather than from a control's dynamic data button.
Where the details are
This page is the integration summary. The full reference — which Meta Box field type
registers which kind of dynamic field, how cloneable groups work, and the handful of field
types Oxygen deliberately skips — is in the Dynamic Data section:
- Meta Box — field type mapping, groups, cloneable
groups - Dynamic Data — how dynamic fields work in general
- Repeater Fields — building a repeating layout from a
cloneable group
Troubleshooting
The Metabox category isn't in the chooser
Meta Box has to be active with at least one field group registered. Oxygen reads Meta Box's
field definitions, so an install with no field groups gives you nothing to list.
My cloneable group isn't in the Metabox category
That's by design — cloneable groups are listed under Repeaters and are chosen from the
Repeater Field element. See Meta Box.
