Oxygen 6.2 Beta 8

Oxygen 6.2 Beta 8 continues to address issues discovered during beta testing. For comprehensive details about everything new in Oxygen 6.2, see the Beta 1 announcement.

New Features

• Variables can now have different values per breakpoint.
• Run Interactions in the Builder. Click Run Interactions in an element’s Interactions settings to run the page’s interactions live in the canvas while you edit, so you can style content an interaction reveals.
• Classes added by a running interaction appear in the class dropdown, so you can style them without adding the class to the element.
• Structure panel: elements with conditions, animations, or interactions show an icon for each.

MCP Server

• Add Support for Responsive Variables in the MCP
• Element schemas now include the hover variant of every hoverable control, so agents can set hover styles
• Conditions now report to the agent the appropriate value they accept
• MCP tools now use less memory on every request.
• Fixed get-dynamic-fields reporting parameter names in a different case than the builder writes them
• Fixed get-element-schemas and get-element-css returning an empty list instead of an empty object, which strict MCP clients rejected

Bugfixes

• Fixed a single malformed selector stopping every class after it from applying in the builder canvas
• Fixed mouse enter and mouse leave interaction triggers losing the hover state when moving between children of the trigger element
• Fixed a condition saved with a single value where a list was expected, breaking the front end
• Popouts open centered on the panel instead of spilling past its edge, and the variable popouts sit flush with the variable chooser
