Oxygen 6.2 Beta 7 continues to address issues discovered during beta testing. For comprehensive details about everything new in Oxygen 6.2, see the Beta 1 announcement.

Security

Beta 7 includes the security fix released today in Oxygen 6.1.2. It fixes an access control issue in the Design Library import flow. See the Oxygen 6.1.2 security update for details. Earlier 6.2 betas are affected, so update to Beta 7.

New Search Form Element

The following changes require the Breakdance Elements for Oxygen extension.

• Search Form has been rebuilt from the ground up. Use it as an inline form or as a modal.
• Autocomplete shows results as visitors type, with full keyboard navigation. Set the minimum characters and maximum results, limit the search to a single post type, and design the result items and the no-results state with Components. WooCommerce products display their price automatically
• The previous Search Form remains available as Search Form V1. Existing pages keep working, and the old element is hidden from the Add panel

WooCommerce

The following changes require WooCommerce, Breakdance Elements for Oxygen, and Breakdance WooCommerce for Oxygen.

• Product Reviews and Product Tabs gained an Open Form In Modal option that renders a button and opens the review form in a modal instead of displaying it inline
• Product Reviews gained a grid layout for the review list, with responsive items per row and gap controls, plus a new Review Item design section (background, borders, padding)
• New Fundamental Product Builder element: an unstyled counterpart to Product Builder for fully class-based product templates. With no default CSS, no design controls, and no interference from the global WooCommerce styles
• Mini Cart: the dropdown now uses native CSS anchor positioning in supporting browsers, so it is no longer clipped by header overflow and automatically flips or shifts to stay within the viewport. Browsers without support keep the previous positioning

Improvements

• Post Loop Builder, Term Loop Builder, and Repeater Field now let you choose the wrapper tag (div, ul, ol, nav, section, article, or aside) so Raw Mode loops can output valid list markup
• Swiper can now open slides in a lightbox, link to the media file, or link to a custom URL (requires the Breakdance Elements for Oxygen extension)

MCP Server

• WooCommerce product templates: agents can author a complete single product template or store header as semantic HTML and have the functional WooCommerce elements placed automatically
• Design Library tools: agents can browse design libraries, insert sections from a design into a page, import a design’s global settings, presets, variables, and selectors, or import a complete site. The tools are off by default, enable them in Settings > Agents & MCP
• New get-post-css-files tool lists every CSS file a post loads, in load order, so agents can reason about the cascade
• Expanded instructions: styling WooCommerce elements with class-based CSS, WooCommerce notices, product gallery sizing, search and mini cart patterns for store headers, and Term Loop Builder for category rows
• Fixed the CSS importer turning border: none into invalid CSS
• Fixed the CSS importer dropping border shorthands whose value is a single var() reference
• Fixed the CSS importer emitting empty values for custom grid track sizes such as minmax()

Bugfixes

• Fixed a change applied to multiple selected elements linking those elements together, so that editing one of them later also changed the others
• Fixed Loop Cart Button breaking the page when the current post is not a WooCommerce product
• Fixed scale transforms in selector CSS collapsing the element when an axis was left unset, and transform-origin values of 0 (or keywords such as left and top) being treated as center
• Fixed the global WooCommerce form styles applying to every search input on the site instead of only WooCommerce ones
• Fixed the WooCommerce review form rendering with no spacing between its rows
• Fixed removed borders emitting invalid CSS such as border-top: 0px none
