Today we're proud to announce the availability of the first alpha of Oxygen 3.8.
Oxygen 3.8 introduces improvements to the built-in code editor, native Rank Math integration, and an Advanced Query option for Repeaters and Easy Posts.
Thanks to the team at Rank Math, who graciously provided the code needed for a native Oxygen-Rank Math integration, Rank Math can now analyze content built inside the Oxygen builder.
This is built-in to Oxygen 3.8 and requires no additional plugins or activations.
Oxygen's built-in code editor has been improved with options like a theme picker, a line wrapping option, matching bracket/tag highlighting, and tab-based indentation.
In addition to default, custom, and manual queries, you can now choose an advanced query option for Repeaters and Easy Posts.
The advanced query option allows you to build queries using wp_query parameters and dynamic data.
The use cases for this feature are nearly endless, but here are some of the queries you can create using the Advanced Query option:
A few of these are included as easy presets that can be set up in one click, without the need to dive into the query builder interface.
Existing users can download Oxygen 3.8 alpha 1 from the customer portal.
Please note that alpha and beta releases of Oxygen should not be used in production environments. We do not provide official support for alpha or beta versions of Oxygen. If you encounter bugs, please report them on GitHub.
