Oxygen 2.4 Alpha 1 Now Available
Today we’re proud to announce the release of Oxygen 2.4 Alpha 1.
2.4 Alpha 1 introduces one new feature: Conditions.
Existing customers can download the Alpha in the customer portal.
Conditions
Conditions allow you to show any Oxygen element based on some defined condition. With this feature, you can do things like:
- Show a specific section to only users that have a specific capability in WordPress.
- Show a section with a featured image background only if the post has a featured image.
- Show elements based on post type, title, tag, category, and more.
- Show elements based on Dynamic Data values.
- And much, much more.
We’ve included 14 built-in conditions, and will be adding many more during the Beta phase of development.
The best part of the Conditions feature is that we have included an API for you to create your own conditions. Check our our preliminary Conditions API documentation for more information.
We’re excited for you to try these new features, so head on over to the customer portal and download the Alpha!
Please note that Alpha and Beta releases of Oxygen should not be used on production sites. We do not provide official support for Alpha or Beta versions of Oxygen. If you encounter bugs, please report them on GitHub.
