Today we're excited to announce the availability of the second beta of Oxygen 4.8.
Oxygen 4.8 introduces the new Navigator, allowing you to quickly switch which post or template you're editing without ever leaving or re-loading Oxygen. You can learn more about this new feature in the beta 1 release post here.
This release includes a large number of polish items for the new Navigator, as well as a few bug fixes for PHP errors and other old issues.

Note that this release also includes a new filter, 'oxygen_vsb_navigator_post_types', which allows you to pass additional post types for inclusion in the Navigator Dropdown. This is useful if you want to be able to navigate between custom post types or post types introduced by a third-party plugin. Click here for an example of how to use the new filter.

Please note that alpha and beta releases of Oxygen or Oxygen add-ons should not be used in production environments. We do not provide official support for alpha or beta versions of Oxygen or Oxygen add-ons. If you encounter bugs, please report them on GitHub.
