Today we're excited to announce the availability of the first beta of Oxygen 4.7.
Oxygen 4.7 is focused around improving the built-in code editor.
We've updated to CodeMirror 6, which enabled us to implement a few highly requested and super helpful features in the built-in code editor.
When writing CSS, JS, or HTML in any of Oxygen's code editors, you'll see suggestions based on what you've typed so far. This should feel familiar from any other IDE and will help speed up your coding when you're unsure of the exact string you need to type.
Code Folding allows you to collapse regions of code such as functions, CSS rules, and conditional statements to make large chunks of code take up much less space in the editor. This can be helpful when actively working on code around these regions to minimize the need to scroll up and down large distances.
Now you'll be able to use CMD/CTRL+F to perform full-fledged search & replace operations within all Oxygen code editors. Navigate through matches with previous/next buttons, turn on case-sensitive, full word, or regexp matching, and replace matches in one click.
Use the new Mixed Code View to see the PHP/HTML, CSS, and JS editors for Code Blocks all at once. Easily swap from the mixed view to full-size editors for each code type with a convenient "expand" button. This view will look familiar if you've spent any time on sites like CodePen.
This should make it much more convenient to develop more complex projects in Oxygen's Code Block.
