Make It Oxy

Import Lovable projects into editable Oxygen 6 websites.

Make It Oxy is a plugin for Oxygen 6 that helps you move from an AI-generated Lovable project to a real, editable WordPress build.

Rather than manually recreating every section, page, template and style inside Oxygen, Make It Oxy analyses your Lovable project and rebuilds it as native Oxygen content that you can continue editing using the builder.

Lovable is excellent for rapidly generating layouts and prototypes, but eventually every project needs to become a maintainable WordPress website. Make It Oxy bridges that gap by giving you a structured starting point instead of forcing you to rebuild everything from scratch.

How it works

Make It Oxy connects to the GitHub repository synced from your Lovable project.

It then:

• Downloads and analyses the project
• Compiles the CSS using the BuilderKits hosted compiler
• Imports project assets
• Renders the project
• Detects routes and layouts
• Lets you review the import before committing anything

Rather than automatically importing everything, Make It Oxy provides a guided workflow that allows you to decide how each discovered layout should be handled.

Routes can become:

• WordPress pages
• Oxygen templates
• Headers
• Footers

Or they can simply be skipped.

This gives you complete control over the final site structure before anything is created.

What gets imported

Unlike tools that simply embed HTML or capture screenshots, Make It Oxy rebuilds your project using editable Oxygen structures wherever possible.

Imports include:

• Generated fallback CSS for styles that cannot safely be represented as native Oxygen settings

The goal is to provide an editable Oxygen project that feels like a real build, not a static export.

After import, you’re still working inside Oxygen.

Make It Oxy isn’t intended to replace the builder—it gets you there much faster.

Current status

Make It Oxy is currently available as an Alpha release.

The Lovable importer is available now and is actively being refined through real-world projects and user feedback.

The plugin is best suited to builders who are comfortable testing new workflows and reviewing imported content before launching production sites.

Coming soon

An additional importer is already planned that will allow existing Oxygen Classic websites to be migrated into Oxygen 6 using the same guided workflow.

Alpha licence holders will receive first access when this becomes available.

Make It Oxy creates a strong editable starting point, but it is not intended to produce a finished production website with a single click.

As with any generated project, you should review:

before deployment.
