Hi, just curious if anyone has had to deal with replacing the functionality of the functions.php file. Is it as simple as adding a code block to a template, inserting the code from an existing functions.php file, and then that code will be executed site-wide? I am thinking of transitioning a few sites to Oxygen but would absolutely need to include the code I've added to functions, php.

you cannot use it that way.

a good plugin is Code Snippets which will handle what you want to do.

Thanks, billythekid. I was not aware of that plugin but it looks like it;s updated regularly and has over 100K installed base 😉 Then again, if I am using Oxygen I have a feeling I will not need as much code in functions.php in the first place.
