Using the right tools

Agents can work with vague instructions just fine — Oxygen converts the HTML and CSS they write into native, fully editable elements. But the more specific you are, the better the outcome will be, so naming the capabilities you want and turning on the right tools will get you closer to the result you pictured.

Ask for Oxygen’s capabilities

Call them out in your brief or prompt:

  • Interactions & animations — hovers, scroll effects, transitions.
  • Dynamic data — loops, custom fields (ACF, Meta Box), and templates.
  • Components — reusable blocks you edit in one place.
  • Variables & classes — for consistent, global styling.
  • Responsive — ask it to check tablet and mobile.

Enable the right skills and abilities before you start

Oxygen works with any coding agent that supports MCP connections, which means it can also work with your existing skills and workflows. A good example of this is Claude Code’s Frontend Design Skill. If you have it installed with your agent, it’ll use it when building sites with Oxygen.

Another great tool is the Universal Abilities from Agent Connector for WP, which lets your agent manage media, run WP-CLI, install plugins, and call other plugins’ abilities too.
