Briefing your agent
Your agent builds what you describe. The clearer the brief, the closer the first result.
Ask for any scope. A section, a full page, or a complete site — describe what you want and the agent builds it.
Include the essentials:
- Goal — what the page is for, and who it’s for.
- Structure — the sections you want, in order.
- Content — supply the copy, or describe what you need to the agent.
- Style — color scheme, tone, and any brand rules.
- References — an existing URL, a screenshot, or a Claude Design link to match.
Asking for a plan first is never a bad idea. For a full page or site, have the agent outline the structure before it builds, so you can set the direction up front.
Iterate in plain language. Describe the change you want — “make the hero darker,” “add testimonials below the logo bar”, repeat until it’s right, and remember you can always fine-tune things manually in the builder if you need to.
Example
Build a landing page in Oxygen for a project-management app aimed at small teams. Include a hero, feature grid, pricing, and a closing call to action. Use your front-end design skill with a clean, dark theme, and write the copy. Plan the sections before you build.
